Technical Support and Quality Assurance (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• You provide technical support for customer enquiries and develop patches and hotfixes to solve the problem.
• You are responsible for handling technical support requests (2nd level).
• You get to grips with a technically demanding system on your own – but don't worry, we will support you. Along the way you develop a deep understanding of the product.
• To ensure a high quality of the product, you develop test scenarios, document them in comprehensible test plans and carry out extensive manual and automated software tests. You record any bugs you find clearly and reproducibly in our ticketing system.
• As an important interface between support, QA and development, you help to understand customer requirements and translate them into development packages, fix bugs and find suitable solutions.
• You communicate with customers to support them with new technical requirements or problems.

What you should bring

• Good knowledge of Java and relational databases (Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Kotlin is an advantage
• Experience in quality assurance in a software environment
• First experience with Jira or a comparable ticketing system
• Technical understanding and the ability to get to the bottom of complex relationships
• A careful, structured way of working
• Enjoyment in solving problems and getting into new topics
• An open, friendly manner and a confident, service-oriented approach to customers
• Good written and spoken German; English is a further advantage
