How personal data can be processed within processes

Ensuring data protection with the GDPR ASSISTANT from MR.KNOW.

MR.KNOW GDPR ASSISTANT for data protection in processes

One topic that now concerns all companies is the GDPR-compliant protection of data. Since 2018, it must be ensured that personal data can no longer be attributed to a specific person.

As part of building a service portal, Inspire Technologies therefore implemented the MR.KNOW – GDPR ASSISTANT for a customer. Thanks to its help, the work of the data protection officer is now considerably simplified. The aim was to enable the data protection officer to display all personal data. In addition, all workflows in which data was automatically anonymised were to be recorded in a list.

For the GDPR configuration, a table was created for the flexible labelling of fields and variables. A background process carries out the evaluation and provides notification by email. Another process controls the automatic anonymisation: it checks the data and retention periods daily and encrypts them.

Thanks to the MR.KNOW – GDPR ASSISTANT, personal data can now be processed encrypted and effortlessly. MR.KNOW is system-independent here, meaning that any databases, tables, processes and fields can be entered into the configuration. Thanks to the integrated control function, all processes always run transparently and evaluations can be retrieved at any time.
