New record high in the skills shortage
558,000 job vacancies – how the DEVELOPER ASSISTANT and other digital assistants help.
The number of unfilled positions in Germany has continued to rise: in March, the new record high was 558,000 job vacancies, according to the Competence Centre for Securing Skilled Labour (KOFA) of the employer-affiliated German Economic Institute (IW). The health and care sectors are particularly affected, but the IT sector also continues to suffer from a shortage of staff.
