Skills shortage: companies scale back business

The skills shortage has been a concern for Germany for quite some time. Now a recent ifo survey has reached an alarming conclusion: in July, the skills shortage hit a new record high. As a result, almost half of all companies feel held back by the lack of qualified staff.
