Digital award for the district administration office
The Schwarzwald-Baar district administration office was awarded a seal of excellence for an outstanding project on the digitization of administration by a jury of experts at the nationwide “Kommunale” trade fair in Nuremberg. The project involved the development of a digital maturity model to measure and control the digital development of the district administration offices and to identify the right measures to promote digitization. Matthias Kreutzer, head of the Office for Digitization, was delighted to receive the award. “With the digital maturity model, we are able to make the complex topic of digitization tangible. The maturity model therefore offers us great added value in our practical work on administrative digitization. Other administrations have already expressed their interest in introducing the maturity model of the Schwarzwald-Baar district.”
